I'm Stranded!!

I was playing DayZ one day on Chernarus and I was suddenly teleported to an isolated island with an invulnerable player armed with a crossbow (freaking hackers :( ...). After pouring an entire clip from my AK 74 into him to no avail, I panicked and logged out. Now when I log back in, I am still on that island. I checked my map, and I'm miles away from the mainland, and am not sure whether or not there is an invisible barrier that may block me from making my way over there. Is there any way for me to commit suicide or respawn other than dying of thirst/starvation? I don't have any grenades or explosives, only an AK 74 and a G 17. Any help is appreciated!!

Sometimes if you go into the prone position, and crawl next to a tree, then spin around in circles very rapidly it will break you legs. From that point simply press your ESC key and you are able to click the respawn button because of the broken legs. This worked for one or two of my clan mates I know. Hopefully this works for you, & get's you off your island please reply with your results if you decide to test this theory.
