123codename123 1 Posted September 22, 2012 Alright here's my problem. When I use the "Default" HUD, (No debug screen) my HUD works completely fine. However, when I try to turn on debug screen to get more data and help me out, my HUD doesn't disappear, but will stop working. Everything will stay green, the sound and sight won't update and the likes. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.-Code
piemanpm 13 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) Yes. This is a known bug. If you'd had read the other countless posts about this, you would know this. Here's a fix:"What you do is when you switch to Debug, and hit okay, it'll light all green. Go back into game options, switch to another option, DO NOT PRESS OKAY, watch the indicators turn normal, and then switch back to Debug, and the indicators will work normally. Now you can hit okay." piemanpm 13 Posted September 22, 2012 Sorry for being snappy. Lack of sleep and playing DayZ for 12 hours can do that to you.As for the debug, I would just leave it off till they eventually fix it in 1.7.3 if I was you. It's just them releasing not fully tested things to test them out, it is a alpha after all.But when 1.7.3 / Standalone will be released, no-one knows. Which is why I've been playing on a private hive for the past who knows how long.
123codename123 1 Posted September 22, 2012 It's alright, Thanks for the help though. Would be nice to have it on, but it's better to know how much noise and sight you're making.
