Boating is cold business

Recommended Posts

Is your temperature supposed to drop when riding in the PBX (inflatable) boat? I recently found one near Brenzino(NE city on coast, whatever its called) and wanted to check out Skelisty Island, so I fueled it up and set off, but by the time I got there I was freezing to death and ended up catching a cold or whatever it is that makes your blood slowly reduce.

I've driven plenty of inflatables in my life and I can assure you it's not a very cold experience. And the fact that you can't access your inventory(to use heat packs) makes boating stupid. Planning pit stops every couple minutes to build a fire or jump out to use a heat pack adds very little to the game and is a risk with new spawns lining the beaches with Makarovs.

In fact when I used the camo clothing and spawned in the ocean and swam to shore I was less cold than spending a few minutes in the PBX.
