Recording videos with third-party VoIP

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to record play sessions, with my friends and I talking to eachother on TeamSpeak. I've tried all the popular software: DXTory, Bandicam, PlayClaw, VirtualDub. They all share the same problem: they want to dominate my sound driver's input, but if I let them do that then I can't send my microphone input to TeamSpeak. So, I can either capture the game sound, or I can communicate on TeamSpeak, but not both.

I see an awful lot of videos out there where they're recorded game video, sound, and microphone stuff all together. How can I accomplish this?

Relevant: I'm running Windows XP.

Hmm, I use Bandicam, and I was able to record TS and Skype fine, the only problem I had was that MY voice in Skype is always recorded at half it's actually volume. I'll check my setting and come get back to you in a couple minutes.

I don't know anything about XP, but my DXtory never had that problem. I just tell it to capture audio from my mic and from my speakers, the mic and speakers still work normally. It may be and XP issue, have you googled your problem?
