Need help setting it up

Hey guys im new to this, i found this on the internet and it looks really fun and i want to play it, but how do i set it up do i just buy arma 2 combined operations then download DayZ commander and run DayZ commander or how do i set it up?

Yup that's the basics, there's a youtube vid to walk you through it look up setting up DAYZ commander there.

Hello Trodair :)

You've pretty much said it all, just download ArmA II Combined operations, download and install it, Download either Six launcher or DayZ Commander, then join a server :D

For the teaming up part, unfortunately there is no Matchmaking system like that, best bet is to go to the General discussions section or clan/squad section, should be able to find a nice team to play with!

  • Run both Arma2 and Arma2: Combined Operations once to complete installation.
  • Download the latest version of DayZCommander from http://www.dayzcommander.com
  • Run DayZCommander and click the "versions" button from the top menu.
  • Click "Install latest revision" under Arma2 OA. Wait for the download and install to complete.
  • Click "Install latest version" under DayZ. Wait for the download and install to complete.
  • Press "Done" to close the versions panel.
  • Double-click any listed server to play.
