step0229 8 Posted June 13, 2012 I often hear people talking about hacked items not having icons. So, I finally kill a survivor with an AS50 TWS. I pick the gun up and it appears in my bag and in the inventory list on the left of the bag. From what I have been told if it's hacked it would show up, it's just there. TODAY, I find out the gun is hacked so I discard it. Can someone please explain the whole "Icon" thing to me. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kingfury4 65 Posted June 14, 2012 Not all hacked items will have no icon.The no icon rule came from when hackers would spawn weapons that were only in use when mounted.So they were never meant to be in an inventory. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
