Taviana Island , is it possible to host a DayZ server of it??

Well the title Says it all , can you host a Server of this , i am curious as i watched this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_zIuBLLGIY

If the answer is its not possible or will be extremely hard does anyone know how to even get it for SinglePlayer???

Tavania is a map in development, half the island does not even have the terrain done on it or no cities. I have downloaded the map thinking it would be epic but the reality is the map currently lacks detail and interesting terrain/variation. The map is huge but it is basic at the moment and not ready for DayZ gameplay in any capacity. It does have some cool features though like malls etc but on the whole it's unfinished. There are other maps out there that would lend itself better to DayZ.

I can see what you mean but Takistan is a DayZ map and 90% of that is sand , just sand or oil fields , but with what you are saying is it only possible to host servers like lingor or chernarus etc , or can you play any map as a server with a little modification??

Yes... and the Takistan doesn't have a lot of things going for it. It is not suited for DayZ. You can port ANY map to DayZ with a little modification.
