I found a hacked AS50. I still have it cause it looks cool. I'm just wondering would i get banned just for finding and using a hacked gun?

and no i did not spawn it in.

i just had one of those and no you dont get banned, BUT there is a few servers where you get banned for 24Hours for having it on you ! Not a global ban or anything tho!..

If I had that gun, I would go to the ocean, and chuck it in, you don't have to, I just prefer to play without hacked weapons. Lol.

some servers do ban you from there server if you have hacked weapons, but you should be fine, (:

The official rules stand as this. You may not kick or ban a player for possessing a hacked in item. The same goes for duped items. Its understandable that people may be upset that this person may or may not be hacker, but unless you have the logs stating that they spawned it in, no one should be banned.

EDIT. If you should come across/kill a hacker or his corpse. here is what you should do. Take any legit items from his corpse as your reward. If he has hacked guns or soldier uniform and such, hide the body and rid the server of his presence.

As far as I am aware. You can NOT be banned and you SHOULD not be kicked from any server for owning a AS50 TWS. However, how closely followed are the rules stated in http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/62195-server-hosting-rules/ thread actually followed? So you'll more than likely be kicked from or banned from the server you are in for having a TWS, if it gets reported to a admin or you say you have it.
