Help! Freezing every 10 seconds for 2-5 seconds at a time.

Is it a hardware problem? Or is it DayZ? And if its a hardware problem. What could it be? :( My specs are ATI 6990m 8gb harddrive 1tb SSD with i7 2.5ghz (3.4 ghz turbo)

check if load is being switched from core to core.

short: reinstalling or formatting fixed it for me.
