New type of hack?

So about a week ago me and my friend were at Balota about to head to the NW airfield, we were walking for about 10-20 when my friend thinks his mouse is broken/bugged. we were in the middle of the woods when suddenly he starts shouting at me he cant control his character, i try looking over at him to see what was wrong, his name had changed and he was shooting as50 rounds out of a 1911. He was fighting for control over his character luckily he kept aiming towards the sky to prevent the hacker killing me and we aborted.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

LOL - this ArmA 2 platform is sooo amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if next time someone reports that his computer is hacked and personal data stolen through ArmA 2 scripts.

We encountered that before, a godmode-enabled guy running with an M1911 doing one-shot kills. Since we are not pussies we didn't alt-f4.

Yup. Happened to me last week too. I got my name changed and whoever was trying to control me, kept trying to make me shoot my friends.

Just left the server, problem solved.

Happened to a friend of mine a month ago or so.. three of us were taking a small AFK break after looting Vybor. I came back to my computer to see one of my friends moving around and thought nothing of it until he threw a grenade right at our feet and all three of us were killed..

After promptly cursing him out when he got back on skype he assured me he was away grabbing a drink and his game was minimized.. That's the first time I've seen that hack in the game.

Yup, a few days ago, half the people on the server I was on was having their character controlled all at the same time, it was pretty annoying. especially when your trying to hide from a sniper....but its relieving when you look on the treeline and see that the same thing is happening to him haha
