Dayz Lag

Hello, so my problem I was having is i lag so much on dayz! I know my computer sucks really bad (Its a laptop) but I was just wondering if anyone new a way to make it less laggy. I put my Video setting to Very Low. Maybe there are some other settings i could change to make it less laggy, i dont know. Here are my computer Specs. Thanks.

AMD E-Series Processor E-300

Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), SP1

AMD Radeon™ HD 6310

384MB-1971MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory

4GB DDR3 memory

Hard Drive : 320GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial ATA)

Display resolution : 1366x768 (HD), 16:9 aspect ratio, Supports 720p content

It may just be your computer, but try this.

Step 1: Go into your "My Documents" folder.

Step 2: Open "ArmA 2" folder.

Step 3: Look for the following lines in ArmA2.cfg, ArmA2OA.cfg, and any other ArmA versions you have.

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000;

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=3;

Step 4: Change them to:

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

Im confused, how do I open my Arma2.cfg or Arma2OA.cfg

Disable anti aliasing and post processing effects, for "dezzy's" suggestion: right click the file and open with "notepad" Edited by IIxSubmarinex
