US 1542 Bans PVPers

What happened:

Server doesn't allow PVP and bans people for PVP. I was told I couldn't PVP by an admin then and they ban PVPers.

Evidence/Proof:

It's in the server title 'NO PVPING OR BAN' so that should suffice.

The problem is, I'm a new player. I just bought Arma 2: CO a handful of days ago, and so did a friend of mine. We found this server and wanted to run around and get our feet wet because we were a little overwhelmed. I found this forum yesterday, and I wasn't really familiar with all the rules and everything.

I played on this server today and I'm running through Chernogorsk and I get shot at repeatedly. I "ghost" (which I now know is not supposed to be done) over to who's shooting me and confront them, asking why they are PVPing when it says NO PVP OR BAN. It's the admin and he says the message of the day says to kill people. I think it is very misleading to have a server with NO PVP OR BAN in the name, and then abuse it by killing off new players because you're an admin. I think it's an extreme lack of integrity for this guy to also be banning people when he is killing people as well. Does anyone else think that's a little immature?

I will be reading up more on the rules for the right gameplay in this game, but so far I thought this was really disgusting

Unless this server is on a privste hive, he can't ban people for pvp. With that being said, nothing will come about if he does. If he gets reported, like he has, nothing will be done. My advice is to find a new server.

It's not a private hive server and the DayZ Staff used to blacklist servers that did this kind of crap. I guess now they are too overloaded or can't be bothered to blacklist servers anymore. Like an above user said, the admin is also warping to people in god mode and killing them if he thinks they're trying to PVP. Really fucked up server and admins in this server and it needs blacklisting. Extreme admin abuse and not following DayZ server guidelines.
