sibexus 26 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) Hello, I'm new to being a DayZ admin. These entries looked a bit suspicious to me, or is it just someone crashing a heli?from remoteexec.log# 17.09.2012 09:46:10: withheld (###.###.###.##:2304) GUID withheld - #38 "[this] spawn BIS_Effects_AirDestruction"17.09.2012 09:46:10: withheld (###.###.###.##:2304) GUID withheld - #40 "[this] spawn BIS_Effects_AirDestruction"from createvehicle.log17.09.2012 09:46:10: withheld (###.###.###.##:2304) 17.09.2012 09:46:10: withheld (2.221.169.79:2304) GUID withheld - #0 "HelicopterExploSmall" 44:27 0:0 [13049,3344,4] [0,0,0] - #0 "HelicopterExploSmall" 44:27 0:0 [13049,3344,4] [0,0,0] Edited September 17, 2012 by Sibexus
torturedchunk 22 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) Looks like your standard Heli Crash. Was there anything else in the logs around the same time?Edit: I also look at the same user to see when he logged in, what he logged in with as well as the time of the heli crash to determine if it was a teleport situation. This allows me to determine if the heli crash was "legit" or simply a kiddie teleporting to the chopper and blowing up/crashing it. sibexus 26 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) Kinda new to looking at these logs, what would be a tip off of a teleporter? I was on the server when he logged on, was somehow on skalisty near the chopper very soon after logging in (maybe hopping), then the chopper ended up at the bottom of the water near the island, he was fine afterwards. torturedchunk 22 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) You can look at the coordinates of his login, and where he crashed the heli. If there is a significant distance between them in a VERY short (usually seconds) amount of time, then he teleported. However, if he logged in on the Island, then he may have just been hopping with a few jerry cans and didn't have enough fuel for extended flight.Sometimes it can be hard to say.EDIT: I have survived a heli crash as the pilot, so that is not uncommon.
