Glowing effects?

I recently upgraded my PC and can now have all the settings cranked up and still have the game be playable. I must say it really does look great, but I have noticed something that really bothers me since I've done this. Certain things seem to glow now...and very brightly. For example a can of pasta glows such a bright yellow that I can barely see what it is.

I am a noob...could anyone please point me to what setting I can adjust to turn this down? It is really annoying and hard on the eyes when trying to pick up something.

could be gamma try turning it Down in video options

Its your post process effects. They alter al lot of settings such as motion blur, dynamic lighting effects and bloom. You can turn those off in video settings.

Nope, it's propably the post process effects. Turn them down or off. Most people turn them off anyway because of the blurry vision these effects cause when moving your head or the glow you were describing.

Thanks guys. I actually do recall seeing more blur than I used to see. I will adjust the post process settings tonight when I get home to see if this helps it. You guys have my beans, thanks again.

IMO, the post processing and anti-aliasing made the game look a lot worth when turned up to full, I have these on a healthy medium/low :)
