Keep getting kicked from game for "Cannot Sync Character Error"

It started after playing a few games of just ARMA II. Now when I log into DayZ I see this come up in the logs.


5:54:30 "DISCONNECT START (i): Brown ("16320070") Object: <NULL-object>"
5:54:30 "ERROR: Cannot Sync Character Error: No vehicle has nil characterID"
5:54:30 "HIVE: WRITE: "CHILD:103:16320070:<null>:2:""

I've tried resyncing the local cache in steam but still nothing. I can play for about 5 minutes before I'm booted out. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
