Missing the chopper!

Hi guys!

1 Week ago I rented a new Server and everything went fine so far except that the chopper just doesn't want to spawn. :/ All vehicles are there except the chopper..

I know it for sure, because I watched the logs from server start.

Has anything like this happened to you or is it maybe a bug?

We lost ours the other day to a server restart mid flight. God knows where it is now we checked all the spawns. Perhaps someone ninja'd yours and the same happened.

As far as i know you can see in the Server logs("arma2oaserver.RPT") on server start which vehicles were submitted and spawned from the hive. And as I said, I see every vehicle there except the chopper. So even if someone would have already stolen it, I would see it in the logs spawning.

Never mind, wasn`t reading (you already confirmed it`s not loading at all). I would force allot of server restarts, see what happens. It has to come back after 7 days i guess :). Do you run a private hive?

I already restarted it several times(3-4 times a day for a week now), no change :(

It's an official hive server and it's not about the heli coming back, it's never been there ^^

There's a 36 hour delay on the heli intially spawning, and it's only a CHANCE that the heli will spawn. With one heli to six potential spawn points it usually shows up not long after the 36hrs, so you could be unlucky.

Unfortunately it's now 108 hours over the delay.. Would be very unlucky, i guess..

Beside finding a solution for this (maybe) problem, could you write me how it was on your server? Did your chopper spawn instantly with the other vehicles or was there a delay and if yes, how long was it?

Maybe we got lucky, but after we ordered our new server, the chopper was there right away. I wasn't aware of the "initial" spawn time.
