Ok hopefully nobody mentioned this.

I think radios are in the game if I'm correct they are just very rare.

Now I'm not sure why side chat was disabled(is that the one that causes lag?)

But what if side chat is only enabled for people that have radios in thier inventory. They can use them to communicate with other Players long distance.

They are implementing it in the standalone. And yes this has been suggested/discussed 1,000,000 times

has been suggested, the radio was in the loot tables, it isn't anymore, so all radios are either remnants of the past or hacked in.
