The original post was edited and locked due to me leaving in the IP addresses, even though I don't see that as a problem as all admins should ban these scripters who spawn in 200 tents, 200 hedgehogs and 100 or so barbwire to block off buildings.

For the users who defended their playing style; I have no problem with users doing this on my server, BUT the problem was they spawned all the gear in.. NOBODY has 200 tents/hedgehogs to block off one single building.. They also teleported several vehicles to that same location and sandbagged around them.

My sympathies bro. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for admins since I know how frustrating it is as a player. It's too bad they censored the IP addresses since it implies their general stance towards the cheating, which is not at all severe enough (being hyperbolic I know, I'm sure they have some legal reason for not allowing public such info).

Here's my little dream: they have a database of IP's that cheated during the mod and those mf'ers are permanently banned from purchasing the standalone. It just rubs me raw that all these little jerks will be allowed to play again when the game is released. Where's the punishment!? In fact, I wish all game publishers shared lists of IP's that cheat so that these people would be essentially banned from enjoying anything the industry has to offer. Complete and utter ostracization, no mercy, no quarter!

who cares about IP when you have their GUID. I'd rather ban a key that can only be changed by purchasing the game for a second time then an IP that might change (because it can be STATIC!!!)

Did you realized that some (most) have a dynamic IP address = if you ban that IP you are not banning that user, but all the users that MAY being assigned to that IP in the future (dynamic IP's are cycled). On the other side, if you spam (because of a mistake) a static IP address, you risk to force that guy to change his IP (in certain countries it's also illegal).

This is why the IP's should NEVER take place on a public forum (cheaters or not).

That`s to fucking bad, we ban GUID / IP ranges for several countries, same for most of the VPN providers which people tend to use to evade.
