Changing maps

I want to try out lingor and takistan maps but I'm wondering what will happen when I go back to my chernarus map. Will I still have the same gear or will I lose it.

Private hive, your gear in the main DayZ wont be effected. If you searched you would of found this answer.

all the servers running lingor and takistan are on their own private hive, meaning that none of your gear or your position is synced between any of the maps or any of the other hives.

Not to mention that Takistan is a piece of a bull's fecal dropping and not worth your time at all.

Lingor is stupid to install, as a tip: get the Arma II launcher, lets you choose the mod and map you want to load...
