Remove Hunting Knife from Toolbelt

Recommended Posts

So since i started playing, I've wondered why can we remove the Hunting Knife from our tool belt and stab/slash people? Not trying to get gory but you could slit someones throat from behind.

And on the topic of necks and such, why can we not break peoples necks if you sneak up behind them also?

I'd say if infection gets implemented in the standalone, i'd not wanne gut or eat with that knife i stabbed a zombie with... could be used to poison meat and then give it to another guy... muahahaha

Played Battlefield 3 much?

Nope, played a little BF2 and like one BF3 match. I was just thinking realism.

US Marines stab the enemy in the side of the neck. I have no problem with this, as if i had a knife and i snuck behind someone, i would certainly want to make the kill as silent and lethal as possible.

It needs to be put as a sidearm and use new kind of "ammo" called "Slash", instead of the "Hack" which breaks legs. Slash damage would have shorter range, would not break legs (Pretty much impossible to break legs in one slash with a hunting knife) and do little less blood damage than a hatchet.

Advantage? You can have a primary weapon at the same time.
