MinstyGaming 0 Posted September 15, 2012 is there a restart that removes everything? like tents barbed wire etc? our camp got completely wiped including the 2 walls of barbed wire, idk if anyone would take the time to just get rid of barbed wire
crobinho 16 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) Your camp will reapear after one of the next restarts! So just be patient and have a look from time to time! You can check here: http://arma2.swec.se/server/list if the server was restarted, and when! Edited September 15, 2012 by crobinho
Frop 33 Posted September 15, 2012 I found on our own server that old barbed wires and tank traps disappear after a set period of time (~7 days?). I haven't tested how it behaves on .5 yet though (e.g. does it reappear after a server restart despite being manually removed or destroyed by a vehicle). turbodog 5 Posted September 15, 2012 I have to restart our server twice when this happens.
sarge888 (DayZ) 2 Posted September 16, 2012 Iv noticed that if after the server restarts you let the timeout runout then everything will load fine. its only when people force start the game(so to speak ie; start the mission beforethe timeout runs out) that you start having issues. Iv tested this a few times and everytime we let the timeout run till 0, everything seems to have loaded fine. and proof of this is ihn the logs as well. Gand (DayZ) 8 Posted September 16, 2012 Three full restarts later and my server is blank (no tents or vehicles). I suspect there is a Hive issue with mine, not sure if anyone else is having this problem.
