How can I transfer my character to a new computer?

I've had a character for a couple of days now and it's my most successful so far and I don't wanna lose it. I'm building a new PC tonight and I was wondering how can I get my character over to the new PC. Thanks for help <3

So if I download steam again and reinstall Arma: Combined Operations and Dayz will my character automatically be there?

Dont be certain on that. Ive heard Steam doesn't always issue the same CD Key back to you after a fresh install. Thats only a rumor Ive heard though. Youll probably be alright.
