XAM 48 Posted September 14, 2012 So I tried using BERcon.exe, but it tells me every time that I've entered an invalid password.I've tried logging in while in the server and that works without problem. But not with any rcon tool.Is this a problem with the latest Battleye?
ersan 219 Posted September 14, 2012 BattlEye password and the server admin password are two different things - the BattlEye password is set in ARMA2OADIR\cfgdayz\BattlEye\BEServer.cfg

XAM 48 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) BattlEye password and the server admin password are two different things - the BattlEye password is set in ARMA2OADIR\cfgdayz\BattlEye\BEServer.cfgwell, I have it set to the same as the ingame one in that file. Still doesn't work.It has worked before though. Stopped working after a Arma 2 update applied using the control panel on Vilayer. XAM 48 Posted September 15, 2012 Ok, I found the problem.I have a file called: BEServer_active_3a46.cfgProblem is I can't change it. And the password inside that file works.
ersan 219 Posted September 15, 2012 When the server exits (gracefully) it will rename the active beserver config to BEServer.cfg - unless the file already exists in which case it can't and continues to use the active one instead.

I found a way to delete it though and everything works as it should now. :)
