Hackers can control us?

Ok, that was a weird experience.

Myself and a friend are at cherno ridding the city of bandits with high powered weapons when suddenly my mate loses control of his character. Not knowing what to do, he logs and relogs back in. While logging back in he takes a two min break and I can clearly see hes not there.

Then suddenly a player with the exact same stuff comes up to me saying through the direct chat "Hey, Hi, How are you" over and over again. I tell him to walk away and he does. I follow him and shoot him in the back and begin to loot him. He has the exact same items as my mate. I instantly log next to the body and we relog to a new server. I spawn first and see him spawn in the spot I shot the player.

Was he being controlled despite in the process of logging back into the server?

Your thoughts guys?

He´s trolling you!

If he was trolling his mate would have spawned back at the coast? Yet when he re-logged he spawned back next to where the "Body" was. Read first sir before declaring a troll.
