All vehicles and tents gone?

Me and my friends had 3 camps, all of them had atleast 1 car or motorcycle and we had tents on them.

When we got on today, everything was gone, and I talked to other players on the server and everything was gone for them too.

What happened? Is this just temporarly and the server needs a restart or did really everything disappear?

This! it might even need more then one restart. Just be patient and have a look from time to time. And you can check here: http://arma2.swec.se/server/list when there has been a restart.

I lost an armory of around 10-15 guns because of the tent glitch. It sucks but (I'm about to piss people off here) it's Alpha and it's free. I can't complain.

It happens randomly on restart. I no longer play DayZ, but each day when I reboot my server I usually log into the game at one of my old tents just to make sure the tents / vehicles loaded. Sometimes it takes 1 or more reboots to get them to load into the game. If possible, you should get contact info for your server admin so you can inform him when tents / vehicles fail to load so he can do a restart.
