Where are the best areas to hunt? Farms, cities or out in the woods?

I'd say the woods. Just because you can kill them with any weapon without being swarmed by Zeds.

Open fields are a good bet for cows, goats, and sheep. The hill called Klen always has some kind of animal up there. Klen is NW of Berezino.

In all seriousness though.

Look for wide open spaces with a bit of a hill, for some mad reason. I always seem to get the cows on a slope.

Forget about rabbits, unless your name is fud, too hard to hit and too little return.

The open grass lands in the far west and north(off the textured map) just teeming with critter's take water and wood.
