Can't update BattlEye client..

Recommended Posts

For some reason, I all the sudden have BattlEye client 1.68 instead of 1.70.

Last night I had 1.70, now I have 1.68 :(

Can anybody tell me how to install the update?

I take it you are using Steam..

Reinstall Battleeye by Rightclicking the ArmA 2 on Steam :)

Do this on both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA

join a server and just wait in that player list screen, pretty sure that will update it. :)

Tried that before, didn't work. Kicked me a few minutes later automatically saying the same thing.

I'm using Steam and DayZ Commander, but I'll try that.

EDIT: Updating BattlEye on Arma 2 says "This game is currently unavailable (corrupt files)."

Updating BattlEye on Arma 2 OA says "!! MISSING STRING"

Updating BattlEye on Arma 2 OA says "!! MISSING STRING"

You need remove the launch options in ARMA 2:OA >right click >properties >Set launch options > remove everything in there.

Try to google the error message. It takes only 2 seconds.

Here's your solution.

Go to http://www.battleye.com/downloads/arma2/new/BEClient.dll and wait for the .dll file to download.

Go to your download directory and copy the .dll file.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\BattlEye and paste the file in there and over write the one that's in there.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye and paste and over write the .dll in there aswell.

Load in as usual.

I'm not sure if you have to do it in the normal Arma 2 folder, but I'd advise it anyway.
