Kimberlah 94 Posted September 13, 2012 Posting this for a friend, he's trying to get DayZ running but unfortunately the beta patch couldn't install.It goes through the installation fine but the files don't actually go where they're supposed to go, probably because of UAC?He tried running the beta patch as an admin, he tried to copy over my beta patch files over TV, all didn't work. Also, the Arma II root folder is on read only and whenever I uncheck read only it automatically goes back onto it. Also, he gets this error. "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack'"Looks like the DayZ files aren't complete? Though still wierd that it doesn't install the beta patch. Also, he bought it through Gametron. Need more info of the system for that. Have you rebooted after trying apply changes?Added:You do look in ARMA what ARMA has loaded or not...right?....dont trust other application on this for now.In ARMA , window before multiplayer, right down corner.
