Sound very quiet

My sound is extremely quiet to the point where my friend can shoot an M107 next to me and I won't hear it.

I use ts and Skype while playing.

Were you injured recently? You can go mostly deaf from serious injuries for a time.

Try messing with your volume mixer. It might be possible that your computer turned down the sound on DayZ.
