jigglypuff21 0 Posted September 12, 2012 Hi, A week ago I got global banned (I think I stole a corpses hacked gun it was a AS50 TWS) I didn't know if it was hacked or not though lol. SO! I said, Oh well I got 29 Bucks to spend, so I created a new steam account and bought ARMA 2: CO Again, It worked for about A week or two I think then just now I try getting on a server, it says I have been global banned again. What's going on? Because I am certain I'm not hacking lol and I just bought a fresh game With a new CD Key that came with it.

zombie3000@hotmail.co.uk 27 Posted September 13, 2012 I may be wrong but i thought you could only get banned from a specific server for using a gun that isnt in dayz rather than a global ban?No one on here can really help though & you'll probably just get trolled but you may be able to contact Battle Eye to appeal the ban. Someone may be able to help with that & point you in the right direction.
venthos 605 Posted September 13, 2012 You cannot get globally banned for using a weapon, even if it was a hacked in weapon. You can only get globally banned for being the one who actually hacked in the weapon. So, you can rest assured that the AS50 TWS was guaranteed to not be the cause of the global ban.We constantly get people here claiming they've never hacked and getting globally banned. I believe some people that they haven't hacked, but I do believe that anyone who gets globally banned has either hacked OR been careless and downloaded a key stealer/trojan/etc. In both cases, I feel global bans are warranted.Yes, there was ONE time when people were erroneously globally banned. VERY shortly thereafter it was retracted. We haven't had a false global ban since. Either you are lying and you did hack, or you were careless and downloaded something unsavory that sent your CD Key off to a hacker who then hacked with it. jigglypuff21 0 Posted September 13, 2012 Well I fixed it, it turned out I had to launch directly from steam for some reason.
