Zombies acting very strange, hacking or bug?

Recommended Posts

So I am sitting on a hill watching the world go by and can see lots of zombies down at stary, wanted to practice my shooting so took one out.... no problem got him with a lovely headshot and then just waited.... few mins later one zombie started running towards me and I assumed another player had spooked him, I quickly realised its running to me and I got up and ran away, lost him behind some trees and stayed hidden. More zombies had run to him and then they all started heading directly to me even though they didnt have line of sight. I kept moving and losing and they would stop, wait 30 seconds then run direct to me even if they couldn't see me

Never had this before, is it a bug or hackers? I felt I couldnt get away as they would just run straight to me en masse even if I hadnt spooked em

I guess your loud sniper aggroed them. Losing line of sight means nothing, as zombies will still go to the place where the sound emerged and "investigate".

IMHO
