I think, mostly I'm killed by trees, doors etc. Whats going on??? :DI can understand - broken bone or something durning crawling near tree roots, but dead???? I lost my all equipement. I'm not looting my body mostly, but with stupid dead like this I tried. But body is not lootable, blocked by tree. Cool – I lost 700 zeds+ character, few kills, NVG, range finder, gps and all rest of equipement. AS50 and M4 SD with lots of mags, ghilie.... WTF????My blood level was 12000, not shocked etc. This is my 3rd dead by tree. koze 113 Posted September 12, 2012 From what I've been told, if you go prone near or under the tree roots, when you stand up your character collides with them and you die. Hydra (DayZ) 472 Posted September 12, 2012 Whenever I get killed by false-collision bugs, I always bust out laughing, no matter what I lose.Once sat in a PERFECT sniping position on pik kozlova to snipe me a party bus with my svd camo, and just as that bastard got in sight, The ground I way laying in broke my bones and made me bleed to death. Kamenka spawn.Also lost a mk 48 camo that I found on a poor dude (a hacked version, was new at the time) that I shot and was running out of balota's military camp when I tried to open one of the gates to get out... It opened the wrong way and smashed me against the wall, sending me hundreds of meters into the air. After enjoying the view, I died on impact with the ground. Luckily respawned right near, but by the time I got to my body, another survivor was looting it. "Could I have that back?" I ask into direct. My answer? The dude slowly turns around and puts a single round into my head without saying anything. KAMENKA SPAWN.One of my favorites, though, was when I was sniping in ghillie with another camo svd, and a squad passed not 6 meters from me without noticing. I breathed a breath of relief... Then the tree broke my bones, causing the squad to ask each other if they heard the sound, and they came to investigate, finding a rather sleepy sniper passed out against a tree with broken legs. I don't snipe much, so I don't spend a lot of time mashing myself prone back into pine trees. I understand that this is a common pastime for some, so they probably run into the glitch frequently. I also never have trouble with ladders, and I've only ever shut a door on myself once. Shock, fracture, maybe a thousand blood lost. I guess I'm just lucky, except I've never found NVG and in the ten or so helo wrecks I've found, I only ever got a stinking Bizon. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Or now we just know how to find tents :) Again Today. I have new character after this pine tree accident... ok... so, I found in few hours DMR, M4A3 CCO, even AS50 on crash site. But I still remember my M4 SD.... then... hooah! Tent and tell me what was inside? :D After tent we found another crash site with ammo only, crates. At first i thought i had been shot so i shot the first personi could see, Turned out i had killed my team mate and it was just the bush that had hurt me.
