Lonely Hacker Kid

It was my third day on my latest character and I was playing on a night-time server way up north. The server has whittled down from the 9 players who were on when I joined a few hours ago to just me and 'Player2'... After a about 30 minutes 'You Are Dead!' appears across my monitor.

'It's not all bad' I think, 'I can check a few spots on the Western edge of the map as I make my way back north'. I spawned at Otmel and ran into Elektro. Then I notice lots of flares currently being thrown in the air beside the office building. "Oh boy. Here we go!"

I stand on top of the office building unarmed and announce myself over direct communication. The skiddie decides not to show himself, scared I presume, so I get down and gear up. I'm in the supermarket grabbing beans for the journey west when I hear him fire at a zombie inside the Cafe. So I walk over to the building in the open and start talking to him, no response. I try typing, then explaining how he can type back, then asking if he speaks English. Finally I say "you're the hacker that killed me right?", then he comes out into the open and shoots me in the leg and types "put down your weapons". I do as he says, there is no point in attempting to kill a guy who can instakill me at any moment and I only just spawned I have zero to lose, maybe I can capture some scripting on Fraps and get this kid's key banned.

We're in the store and I'm asking him what his plan is - he doesn't respond. A minute later I ask again and finally tell him that if he has no plan and just wants to sit in here with me all day he really must be bored. Then I ask if he has no friends in real life or something I can't seem to provoke any response out of him. Finally he responds by doing the 'friendly dance' after I do it. Then he salutes and does the sitting pose and a few other things only noobs get excited about in the next few minutes. He doesn't type anything again beyond that one line telling me to drop my gun and he seems to just want to sit around in the supermarket. At this point I realize I'm not going to get anything on Fraps from him and this isn't even going to be an amusing story I can tell. In a last ditch effort to get some good footage I tell him "ok bye", and wait for him to kill me which he does as expected but by the boring old method of shooting me in the head.

This is the type of skiddie I meet in game. They're not creative or funny, they're boring and lonely. Please stop claiming otherwise.

I'm with you on the boring hacker problem... I ever see the psycho killer, or the helpful ones, or even slightly creative ones.. it's always the mass teleport or the invisible killer.

you hackers out there, if you're listening, nobody likes a follower, be creative, work those feeble tumours you call brains and give me some enjoyment damnit!
