Moments of Disappointment and Fail

I was approaching Stary Sobor, just like I do in every life so I can grab the goodies and head for the NWA. Approaching for the South at midnight, I see a silhouette in the grain fields, near the bushes. Sniper! I get on the ground and begin rolling toward the nearby bushes. Using my 3rd person lamehax, I peer around the bushes. He is definetly looking at my direction. He appears to have an M107 .50 caliber sniper. A little obvious for a sniper position, but a good view of the tents that nobody checks before entering. Time for action.

I roll silently around the bushes to his position.

*switches to sidechat*

Zak: "Stary Sobor, gimme something good."

The sniper seems to switch focus.

Zak: "Nothing in this tent."

I continue rolling.

Zak: "BRB, gotta piss."

The sniper waits patiently.

I lose sight of him, but don't forget his position. I roll another 2 minutes until I expect to be 30m away from the sniper position. I run out of the bushes and brandish my Winchester...

...at a cow.

"Moo."

"Oh."

Should have put my antialiasing on high. Can't go to Stary Sobor now, I bet 3 snipers are already set up. :dodgy:
