Wiley 49 Posted September 11, 2012 Zombies being the sniper early warning system needs to go. The spawn distance should be equal to, or even larger than visibility distance. They should spawn before you can see them.
Mirazoka 15 Posted September 11, 2012 Regardless, people will know other players are there.Maybe they should just be around at all times, even when there's no players. Though maybe that causes massive lag or so.

Someone could be in Prigorodky but spawning zombies in Cherno, Electro and Pusta.I personally think that fewer, more dangerous zombies that spawn around players (not just around buildings) would curb the lag and spawning concerns. Bludy 324 Posted September 11, 2012 now i fear it's impossible to have them all the time spawned..i think it works better for looters/close quarters than sniper..if he is camping a small town, he doesn't really need the infected to spot you..it's when you want to go deep inside a settlement than seeing the zombies warns you someone is there and covers your movements if you decide to go in. yes maybe someone will switch to his scoped rifle and wait for you, but this could happen also if he hears shooting or sees dead bodies..everyone makes mistakes.. Not knowing if he or someone else spawned the zombies and the potential of the more dangerous zombies to harm the sniper himself if he isn't paying attention to his surroundings address these issues... at least for me... Wiley 49 Posted September 11, 2012 That's what I mean. It should be that if the sniper can see the town, the zombies would have spawned already because of him. True, depending on how spread out they are he might be able to tell that he spawned them or if they were already there, but that's still better than sitting 300 meters out and having a 200 meter warning when someone else gets close. zackthazman 23 Posted September 12, 2012 I say the zombies all spawn at once as soon as someone spawns you'll never know if anyones if the town then.
