Cant log 0 player servers

I have noticed i am unable to log into servers with 0 players? Is there a reason for this. I will always hang at "loading" i have even waited up to 15 minutes a couple times just to see if for some reason it takes longer ... like maybe the server needs to wake up. I dunno. I have tried at least 3 dozen times over the last few weeks and never get into the game. I have little trouble otherwise as long as there is 1 person on the server. Anyone have any ideas.

I believe you cant join an empty server without at least 3-5 players in the lobby as well

You can join server with 0 player on it.

But for some reason, some server cant be join.

Just try other one.

I think it may be admin who block server some how.

Anyways, lots of server admins have no idea what they are doing. Beyond that, Battleye is such a piece of crap. Most of the time when you get to a screen and it just sits there it is because Battleye cannot connect or your ping is too high. The number of people on the server or in the lobby do not matter unless there is a way for admins to set their server that in which case they should be drawn and quartered.

You just have to keep trying servers until one likes you.

Some of them the 0 servers are ones i have played and marked as favorite so they have been good. I never play a ping over 50 and most times its below 30. The last 2 days i have been trying 0 player servers just to test the idea. If i am stuck on loading more than 60 seconds i know i am not getting in and move on.

Sometimes a 0-1 player server just takes 10-30 minutes to load in, it's the dodgy server and not you. When you do get in they are normally like playing DayZ underwater and very laggy.

I used to try and load into one, go off and make lunch, then when I came back I'd be the only one in the server. When I was a newbie I used to have a tent set up on one such server since people wouldn't wait that long for the loading time.

Low pop servers are a good way to start out learning the game, learning which buildings to loot, however once you've died 100's of times and have learnt not to get attached to your gear then server population won't matter, you'll happily jump in high pop servers as they are much more fun.

You actually wait that long? I Control- Alt - Delete after 3-4 Mins and look for another server. I have no patients lol :)
