Vehicle Saving, doing it wrong?

Playing US 3392 this evening, my friends and I were able to fix up a V3S and an S1203, we drove them up north and got a message that server restart was in 6 minutes.

We parked them in trees, exited the vehicles and hit 'Save V3S' and 'Save S1203' via our action menus then waited for server down, which was still about 4-5 minutes away.

We waited a few minutes after we got our 'no message received' messages and logged back in, the vehicles were gone. Is this a server issue, or did we do something wrong?

Same, so far we have lost:

2 offroad trucks

2 motorcycles

3 buses

1 red UAZ

1 grey GAZ

1 S1203

1 helicopter

This happened over a couple of days, as we tend to lose our vehicles often, because we don't hoard them for no reason. Usually convoys or food/fuel trips. Along with these lost vehicles was a fuckton of gear. Cool, they fixed tents, but they broke vehicles. Of course.

I've lost a motorbike and an ATV. An old hatchback has worked correctly, though. So I guess yeah, vehicles still broken but tents working?

EDIT: Logged in today after a server restart, the mentioned old hatchback has disappeared (it was empty of fuel) and my tent is gone. They still bugged?

EDIT2: After a second server restart, my hatchback and old bike returned. I have no idea what's going on.

PS. EVERY time the server restarts, my vehicles get emptied of fuel.
