is it possible to put gear into a car or bus as storage? ive heard so but no one seems to elaborate

How do you put it inside though, im using scroll wheel and theres nothing coming up, same with g, i hit g aroudhn the bus and nothing happens

Both these methods work fine for me. Go to a vehicle and scroll wheel. If it can store equipment then you will have the "Gear" option. Select it and you will open the gear menu. Put stuff in the car the same way you would transfer something into your pack.

One thing I am confused on however is how much storage capacity each vehicle has. I believe it is different for each one, but, currently, there is no reliable info on it and the only way to tell is to fill it up until it starts deleting items like a full backpack would. Only difference between a vehicle and a pack however is that the pack tells you how much free space it has at the top of the gear menu while the car does not.

Try different spots/angles on the vehicle. You can't always access the gear on every point of it.

It's a bit hard to find the spot sometimes......... much like something else.

Adding to that the storage of a bus isn't that great.

There is a thread around here (started yesterday I believe?) regarding the storage capacity of most of the cars (I say most because we have a Ural - but it's no in the thread).

ok, i just could find the spot to get the gear up, i walked around it but somethings are hard to even pick up fom the ground with gear,
