am I wrong or camouflage suit has some body armor?

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I ran into a guy looting some gili corpse. No much time to think you know - we both started shooting each other, however I was faster and I killed him. I took just one shot - screen blurred/black&white and for few seconds I couldn't see much and I got trauma - you know this symbol looking like electrified plug/socket (not the broken bone one).

I was in camo suit. After I checked corpses I discovered that I haven't lost any blood - none! The other discovery was that probably I took SVD shot. OMG - how this could be possible? Another option is that the guy shot me with pistol - but still - no blood drop? or bullet missed me but still "supressed" me with trauma?

or camo suit has some body armor absorbing one shot? or it was just lag/bug?

What do you think?

I've heard that the camo suit has body armour. If you look at the skin whilst you wear it, it clearly has some form of body armour/vest on it.

Whether it truly is body armour is another matter though. I've also heard that the hero skin has some armour too. Again...no idea if true.

Not totally impossible actually, considering the hero skin runs faster than others. Not too far fetched camoflague clothes would add armor then. I suppose this could easily be tested in game with an M9 or and a video recorder. Though you're not going to be stopping high power rifle rounds with it, maybe just a slight damage decrease.
