I've been teleported to spawn points twice in the past day.

My tent location is somewhere in the forest region at the northwest side of the map, far far away from the coast.

I've been logging in every day for the past few weeks without issue, until the server I placed my tent in changed their name to "DayZ Chernarus". They seem to be undergoing some maintenance right now, since I keep getting kicked off by Batteye. No, I do not hack, and I'm updated to the latest version.

Ever since, I've been teleported to the coast every time I encounter a similar error.

I keep all my player stats and gear, I'm just transported all the way to a spawn point one would find a new character.

First time, I got teleported to Elektro. What pisses me off even more is that I accidentally fell while trying to scavenge for food, so I have to run back to my corpse and waste precious time and blood. I was on day 66, 300~ zombies killed on that character.

After reaching the dam up the road, I take a short break. I join another server with green ping, and BAM, another teleport.

Now I'm at Kamenka. I still have all my stuff, all my stats on this new character. But once again, precious time wasted.

How can I prevent this from happening again? Please and thank you.

When it crashes at black loading this happens instead of going to debug, or possibly just exiting out at that loading screen.

I've had the bug a few times on the latest dayz patch, an inconvenience indeed. Doesn't bother me on my server but If I was on high pop it would be an issue.

It will keep happening as long as you keep switching servers.

Never knew the game was that sophisticated against glitching/server hopping. <.<

Anyways, I'll have to find a server to call a second home from now on, since all my previous favorites seem to have died out...

I'm about to blow your mind.

Get dayz commander if you don't have it yet.

WHENEVER you get stuck in loading screen, alt tab to dayz commander

join any other server,

get to lobby,

start loading the game,

wile it's loading, alt tab to desktop and close the first arma (dayz) window that has the stuck on loading screen bug.

alt tab back to 2nd arma2/dayz window (only arma2/dayz window by now), fully load to your location without loosing your stuff.

...

profit.

It isn't, the guy has no idea what he's talking about...

When you're on the loading screen your character is out of map. If you get stuck on a loading screen then your character gets stuck out of map and teleported to the coast the next time you play.

I never know where I will be when I log in or if the server will even let me live. I play on one server mostly, but have three total that seem to work good for me as far as ping and fps go. But it's a crap shoot either way with an alpha game like this. I have decided the zombies are due to an alien infection and when I get teleported or insta killed it must be the aliens. Only solution I have for you.
