arma 2 beta client makes my textures blocky

as the title says whenever i launch dayz using the beta client(installed using these instructions http://dayz.sykotix.com/arma-ii-beta-client-install/) textures on trees and grass is incredibly blocky

first picture is dayz launched from steam, 2nd is launched from beta client

help?

That's not your textures, that's your level of detail setting. Check if there's a setting for it, if not, post on the beta patch thread for help, not DayZ.

changing my texture detail and terrain detail to both very high and very low changed nothing. infact, i messed around with every video setting, none of them help.

ill try posting on that other forum, thanks
