Soft restart

Hello!

im trying to figure out how to restart my server the "soft way"

im trying to restart my server every now and then. But when i do all the vehicles spawn back to their spawn places and all the tents gets deleted.

How do you other guys restart your server`?

Update to 1.7.2.6 and the vehicles will save their location correctly, so will the tents.

I think you maybe misunderstood. I have seen servers with the same version as mine and when they restarts their servers no cars or tents gets deleted.

But when i restart every thing gets reset. All the cars and tents get despawned and ends up at their normal spawning place. I know this because i had a base with one heli 4 tents and more cars. After that server restarted nothing got deleted. Except for the items inside the tents.

And this was before the 2.6 update.

Yes but is your server actually running 1.7.2.6? Mine had loads of problems with tents and vehicles prior to that, now all fixed.

This server is running 1.7.2.5, thats maybe what causing this problem. to update, is it just updating the scripts or?

Update the files in @DayZ.

Also make sure you have Hive 0.7.4
