Day Z - The Movie

Recommended Posts

So IDK about you guys but within the first 10 minutes of playing Day Z I thought "All this is missing is conspiracy and an evil corporation or gang and this could be an amazing movie."

This could be seen as a joke but I think with the right people this could be real, a fan made movie made by Day Z players for Day Z players. I was thinking about if we should use in-game or animated, there are Pros and Cons of both and I think we, as a community can work this out and come up with an amazing fan made movie.

If we do plan to make this we have several.... thousand things we have to plan;

- Script

- Casting (Both players and Voice actors/actress)

- Production

- Editing

This is a starter and I hope you all like the idea and I would love to see what happens next.

True Hollywood fails at video game movies and a lot of games based of movies are just as bad but I've seen some pretty good fan-made movies like Pac-man, Fallout oh and Half-Life although they were all live action but I don't see why in-game or even CGI couldn't do as well.

It was just a thought I was having and if nobody likes then we can all move on with our lives.
