Question about vehicles and storage

Hello,

I started playing DayZ since the last patch. I heard about cars and tents not saving. So I never bothered with them. But since the new patch I have set out to fined a tent to store stuff I fined. But I can't for the life of me fined a tent yet in the last patch I couldn't stop falling over the bloody things.

So anyhow I found a tractor. Plenty of fuel but broken windows a bad engine. So I repaired the engine and set of to fined a nice hiding spot. I found one and parked the tractor up. I put most of my loot. I have saved the tractor and come of DayZ for a little bit. My question is do vehicles and tents follow me from server to server or do I have to keep joining the server I found it on?

P.S How many guns and items can I fit in this tractor?

They will be on the server that you found them on only. They do not follow you. Tents will only on the server that you place it. Look at this Link it will help you http://dayz.wikia.com/wiki/Vehicles

1. Tents & vehicles will only be on server where you found the vchicle/placed the tent. So the one where you have found the tractor.

2. Tractor got :

50 items slots (Not for 50 items but for items taking up a total of 50 slots) ,

3 weapon slots (3 rifles or 2 rifles + 1 handgun or 1 rifle and 2 handguns etc.)

2 backpack slots (Items in the backpack dosent count towards the 50 item slots. you can put in 2 full backpacks)

Also, vehicles/tents do not follow you from server to server so if you place a tent in US 1, and then log into US 2, it will not be there.

all true except it is 50 items not 50 slots like for example if you where to put a jerrycan in your tractor it would not take up 3 item slots(like it does in your pack) it would just count as one item.

4real ? havent played Day Z for some months now.

But was almost possitive that when we was filling junk in our Ural. item started to shoot out of the side of it long before we hit the item slot cap because of our Jerrycans/Engine parts.

Might have a bad memory. thanks for the correction ;)

it might have been like that I only started even looking for vehicles in 1.7.2.5 so it might have been changed but yes we had a ural and a hatchback we where able to fill up with what the wiki said its item max was,tents are like that too. hope this helps =)
