Finaly found random friendly guys :P

So i play dayz for some months,and i havent found any friendly survivor so far.I've found guys that kos,guys that used others and then killed them,and guys that dc as soon as you say hi.

I play mostly with my clan,and we're not being friendly :P

But when i play alone i dont run to get good gear,but just to have fun.So i'm trying to be friendly.

So today i spawn in Elektro and as i run around i see a player with a shotgun.I start running behind him,and zombies behind me :P

After like 3 minutes he turned around and saw me,i said "i'm friendly dont shoot",(i was unarmed as well) and he said "ok,i'm friendly too,follow me,i'm going to my group".i had nothing to lose,and i thought it could be a really good idea to team up with some strangers for a bit!So i run with him,and we see another dude in a distance,g17 in hand,crossbow on his back.He joined us,but didnt talk.Anyways,we keep running and we went on the hill with the lighthouse,where we stopped and they killed the zombies.And then guess what!Boom,shotgun guy is out from a sniper shot,out of nowhere.i say to the other guy "shit,sniper take co" and i;m dead,the guy next to me killed me thinking i betrayed them..next moment he is dead too,sniper shot!

The first guy was nice,i liked him,he was friendly,he could just shoot me,but he even told me he's going to meet a group,he could ambuse me and stuff :P

Anyways,that's my nice story for today :P

It is hard to find friendlies try the two forums in the general , Survivors and Bandits, there are teams looking for members. Ya never know you may find a home!!

Last night I was in Lingor and there were only 3 of us in the server, all around Calamar airfield, we met at the hospital and went looting the base, My dead zed count was 250+ I dread to think what theirs was. It was pitch black and I got lost in a playing field with a fence all round it, no matter what I did I could not get out of this area, One of the guys came with a flare and we all ended up spending 6 hours solid playing together. I don't like playing at night but in a team It was fantastic.

I have never tagged along like that before, We raided a hospital and gave each blood (You can see the difference with full blood at night - Colour!!)

However just today, I bump into this guy who needed help and when my back was turned he slotted me, Gotta wonder what was going through his mind after the help I gave him.

Some people just don't have souls.... I for one have very little trust in any players, only those in my clan and on TeamSpeak i trust.. i wont shoot anyone on sight unless they start first though i will sneak about them, get within range and hail them over Direct, any funny moves and they get dropped, though if they lower their weapon i generally ask them if they want to join up with us and give them our TS details....

So far we have had 8 new members through doing this...

well i play with my clan and i dont want to find an other group,only if i find them randomly and play for a bit ,it's exciting!i've found one once,but they used me to take out some zeds and an enemy,then i saved on of them,and they killed just cause they didnt trust me :P even if i risked my ass to save them :P

But i dont care,i dont bitch about it.After the incident i mention in the post,i spawned and came across 2 guys,one with an enfield and the other with an ak.they saw me spawning there,but they just opened fire.they missed so many times though,they spent a lot of ammo :P Then they finaly got me and i died,and joined a buddy of mine and chased them :P

It is a lot of fun meeting complete strangers and working together.

The other day I was a newly spawned player in Cherno. I heard gunshots and proceeded to investigate. As I got closer to where the gunshots were coming from I found a guy with a hero skin. We teamed up and he told me he had found a bus that needed repairing. So there we were in the middle of Cherno looking for engine parts and whatnot when we came across 2 other survivors who joined our group. It turned out we were all from around the same part in the UK which was cool. After fixing the bus and picking up one survivors friend. We decided to head up to Berezino. Unfortunately we drove past a guy running down the road who shot at the bus, killing me.

Either way I had a good hours worth of fun. Being friendly can have it's advantages.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about

I meet friendlys every day even if I don't go out to look for them

Tips.

No gillie, camo or bandit skins. Only survivor and hero

Voice chat or be ready to be not trusted

Its only going to happen ON THE COAST. Elektro is the best, cherno also works but you can find friendlys even at the airfield.

(optional) Be unarmed/lightly armed

Video tells this story on Lingor Island, you need to watch a while but my group team up with 5-6 random people over the course of the day and just ride around helping people (no one messes with a group of 10 people, though one tried and failed) :)

Maybe I'm the exception, but I've met almost as many friendlies as I have hostiles.
