I joined an empty server to just go do basic looting without being sniped in electro. I was on sniper hill when I spawned. As soon as I get in I see the huge firestorm known as a crashed player helo. I then saw that the whole factory fire station area was destroyed along with about 50 some bodies piled in the middle. I ran over to see a scripter box there.

After that I ran through electro and found another box in the school, one in the other fire station, and one last one in the church. After I decided I didn't want to be on that server I left. I had stolen an M24 from one of them along with an M1911. Once I joined a somewhat fuller day server (Once again I logged out on sniper hill) I moved a bit and looked all around. After about 20 seconds of being in that server someone appears in front of me with an M16 I think! I freak and press esc and gonna log out. He puts at least one or two rounds in me before I manage to disconnect.

I decided to join ANOTHER server. Once in this one I bandaged myself and looked around better this time...well all of a sudden TWO PEOPLE appear in front of me and before I could even alt f4 I eat lead from two LMGs. Didn't know what kind, but I saw them. I think they were MK 48s.

I'm callin it a night, Happy hunting bandits, and good luck heroes!

Ah so letting script kiddies kill me is okay. Alt f4'ing is only okay when something like being teleported or even dropped from the sky.

By the way, I don't alt f4. I press esc and abort. You can easily kill me and my body won't go poof. Unless your a shitty shot.

Another fact is that I never alt f4'd during what happened. In fact I only implied It happened so fast I couldn't press a key on my keyboard.

I don't care how you exit the game - via the menu or via Alt+F4 is still cheap and wussing out of combat, no matter which way you slice it. Other than them "appearing in front of you" and you freaking out, there's no other proof that these players you encountered are hackers. Well, other than your insinuation that geared players couldn't ever have possibly either a.) been geared like that in the first place, b.) had been logged out in the same place as you and had just logged in (it is possible, I mean, that's what you did, right?) or c.) simply being better than you at sneaking up onto you and taking you out. You can't be looking in EVERY direction at the same time.

You go log out for the night. DayZ severs need less "better quit the game before I die because I saw a player" people around, anyway.

Don't you understand by the way, that an image is worth a thousand words. From the little cute gif you posted I can make out many things.

1: "Is this guy serious?"

2: "What the fuck just happened?"

3: "I love hockey and just saw my team losed so I'm acting like it was all bullshit"

You fail to see that I they literally were 5 meters infront of me, looking at me. If they just spawned in I would have killed them before they could even see the bright of day, but infact they shot me up without second to spare. So lets say I get teleported into the thunderdome. That's a PvP thing. Saying I should stay there so I can give people a fair chance to kill me. Next time I'll stay and fight then or better yet, next time I get teleported in a warehouse with everyone I will just stay and fight 'cause I wanna give them a chance to win this fight and get my stuff.

Forums of the internet make me stupider as I stay on them.

By the way, Been playing this since it came out, Played the ACE mod before DayZ. The game is getting boring so hard life my ass, since I spent so many months dying and regearing up the legit way. Everyone has used an exploit :/ I'm not the only one, go bitch at someone else since everyone does it, even on accident.

I'm not sure how you consider taking ANY weapons from a spawned in box by a hacker as being "legit." Perhaps you should re-acquaint yourself with what the word "legitimate" means. I also never said hacked gold guns or non-DayZ weapons is okay, either - I just called you out on whining about hackers, but also being happy to benefit from their box cache, regardless of the power of the weapons you took. It's like saying it's okay to steal from a store if it's just a candy bar.

You obviously still had enough time to abandon the game in the first encounter. Regardless of whether that person was a hacker or not, they were obviously a shit shot and you could have engaged. Don't be silly, I'm not some unreasonable monster without a sense of morality. Mass hacking is unfortunate for everyone involved and the best course of action is often to leave the server and avoid being killed by everyone else who takes up a "every man for himself" reaction to it, if you want to save what time and effort you've spent working on surviving properly. Being dropped from the sky suddenly? Sure, exit away. However, when it's just you freaking out that someone spawned "5 meters in front," after having just finished talking about the loot you took from clearly illegitimate means sounds completely hypocritical and, frankly, hard to even feel sorry for you, on any level. You deserve to die from their hacks, if you're willing to deliberately and consciously benefit from them, too.

For the parts I did read let me say this. I gladly admitted I took guns from the box on the forum. Who the else does that? People who don't are the ones running around with TWSs and Golden guns. I will gladly admit I flew the hackers helicopter the night before. I will also admit one of my best friends on dayZ was Global banned for spawning in 8 helis and crates infront of me. Which when that happened I just told him "I'm out" and left him to his scripting. I admit to all my 'sins' to you people, It's better than bullshitting everyone.

THE angry I feel on this thread lol.

1. I honestly don't think people care about this post only at the fact that you alt+F4

2. Don't be attached to anything in Dayz you take a few hours to gear up but only takes a minute to lose it.

3. If you are on the sniper hill spawning from server to server I would suggest you go a bit higher up on the hill or on the sides so it'll be easier to flank the snipers if any on that location. Spawning exactly at a nice little sniper spot will just have you spawn where people can see you. When ever you are at the screen that says "Setup completed...Please wait" screen you are actually ingame already standing and people can SEE YOU or if they're close enough open your backpack with out you knowing. And if you were in a prone position you'll go from standing (in loading mode) then down to prone once you can actually see the game (usually when people just open fire at you or once you just move a tad bit.

4. Alt+F4 in combat isn't fun at all, I can understand if you get teleported to a random spot then you alt+F4 or abort then fine. But if someone is right infront of you "FIRE FIRE FIRE" fill that player up with lead if he doesn't drop and just walks up to you slowly then you scream like a little girl and ABORT.

5. I've had a very nice set of gears a bunch of times like one of the .50 cal snipers/m9 SD/nv/rangefinder/24slot backpack/grenades and I go around kill like 3-5 players then I die out of nowhere because some hacker script killed me. Or I see myself tossed up in the sky falling/above the water/falling on the top of a vehicle (with the hacker inside laughing)/blown up in the building I was in and all sorts of other stuff that hackers seem to enjoy doing.

*I've even encountered a hacker who was on the sniper hill killing people with his as50 as if he was legit and pro. I wait for him to stop and unload like 5 shots at him with my as50 he turns to my direction and starts walking up to me saying "don't piss me off buddy I'll kill you" I told him yea only because you're in godmode but you have to admit you're one of those players who can't pvp so you rely on hacks to make yourself feel better. Of course he shoots me and I just laugh at him and say "nice being able to download skills huh???"

Through all that I still play, do my daily looting for stuff and upgrading them by killing others for it (YES FOLKS if you haven't guessed i'm a BANDIT a SOLO ONE). And I'm pretty sure A LOT of us have been killed many times by hackers but still enjoy the game.
