Yawapeek 3 Posted September 9, 2012 Well earlier today I was trying to find a med to low population server, as the nearly full server I was just on had been hacked (all dead). I figured less people playing = less enjoyment for hacker cause less people get mad, so I hoped a slightly less active server would have less hack troubles. Anyway I found US1799 and played for a bit...was a bit nervous cause I had logged out near the coast but when I logged into US 1799 I was just south by south west of the NWAirfield. Well since I was there I figure great time to check the barracks. Nothin much there so as I left I stumbled over this crater...kinda north by north west of barracks could still see them. It was filled with about 10 tents many over lapping each other (looked wierd never saw a "camp" before) and a bus parked right in the middle of them. Well I looked thru to 2 m24 mags that was all from the crater. I ran up and out to find a place to hide, my wife was wanting me to go pick up the pizza we ordered. As I ran to the nearest trees I saw about 5 or so more tents....had to look real quick...took a GPS. Then i laid down and logged out. After eating the pizza the server must have been down or I was pinging bad to it (filter set at ping <150 ) cause it was not on my list....so I played a bit on a different server to pass the time....I saw the server was available to me again so I tried to log in to it...I am trying to find a home server that I never leave (unless its down and I just have to have a DayZ fix) It keeps telling me I am Admin Banned???? Correct me if I am wrong but stealing from tents is part of the game? That why we hide them? The had thier camp right next to a high value high loot zone and ban people for "borrowing" :) from the tents? I took very little and only for my own use...lol Are the Admins really allowed to abuse people like this? Why not make Admin tents and gear bright yellow and orange so you know not to steal from the cause they will abuse thier power and cheat to stop you? I am not a bad guy in game (or out...just as I will tell you lol) I have never killed a player in about 3 months of playing...I don't hack...Don't Alt-F4...don't log during danger unless danger happens right when I need to leave for work or something...lol...died way to many times to be considered a combat logger....lol but really I get nailed for taking a couple cookies from an open cookie jar? The short time I was on the server I liked it....it was one of the smoother (no lag for me at all) server I had been on and I had not got teleported 2 miles up or sniper pop up behind me or just script killed, but now I don't know if they abuse thier power like that if I would ever even want to try it again but it annoys me that I have been punished for playing the game Rocket intended....if he didn't want people stealing from each others tents he would have locked them...or made them containers only the placer could open. SilentPSA 0 Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) 4 of my freinds and i were also banned from this server last night, we only took what gear we wanted, we could have easily destroyed their entire tent city. yeah we took the buss, but we didnt drive it over the tents, i guess we should have, and if we can find a way back on to that server we certainly will!!!!!! way to make enemies LLTS Edited September 9, 2012 by SilentPSA Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
