how do i add friends?

There is no real "friends list", you cant even "join game" through steam sadly.

By using a map, compass, and common landmarks.

You have to make looki looki:

Look for the place-name signs at the roads to know where you are and check with the chernarus map.

Gather a map that has both the Cyrillic and English names and only use it for this purpose of knowing what sign says what.

Have them join the same server and navigate around.

Just make sure to get off of the coast asap and never meet up in big cities..... Find a map, All the signs are in Cyrillic the map will help you there.

When you spawn make sure that you take note of the writing on the bottom right its your starting location on the map......
