Recommended Posts

I know my PC is pretty bad. But, I would like to know. How bad would it be if I tried to play DayZ on this PC on the lowest settings?

AMD Athlon 7450 Dual-Core Processor

CPU Speed 2.4 GHz

RAM 3.8 GB

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 64-bit

ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

If you want a rough idea, try playing Arma2Lite. It's a free download.

I tried that, it ran good enough for me. But I've heard how DayZ is a bit different from the basic Arma. Edited by Kingfury4

Do NOT go by the Demo's graphics. I was heartbroken because my PC's not too bad at all, and the demo's graphics were like ass. But after buying the game I was amazed. Yours isn't too bad anyway.

Thanks, but I'm planning on upgrading, but the waiting is killing me and I want to play it so bad.

I just meant it's a pretty basic way to test the game. Your right though, the graphics are low res and the sounds are worse too.

I'm probably not the most techie minded guy to ask, if you post your specs in the technology forum, some pretty knowledgable people will give you a good idea.

Id say you would struggle fps wise on high player servers, on lowest settings. You REALLY need an upgrade man, im not going to preach to you or bash you for having a bad PC, but if you want to get in the whole pc gaming craze you gota pimp yo PC B)

Well i have an intel i7 quad core, 8gb ram, 650 or 700gb hddr, and an Nvidia GeForce 525m graphics card (its not phenomenal, but it's not bad, in the middle of the spectrum) and i never get passed 15FPS. I've never tried tampering with the video settings though.
