What just happened?

Alright. A few days a go (before 1.7.2.6) I got killed near Stary Sobor. I Pretty much had the best gear available, including an AS50 TWS. Looted it from a dead body on sniper hill if anyone wondered. Anyways. When I log on today, I spawn at Stary Sobor (Not where I died) with an AS50 (non-TWS) and all of the tools. I also spawned with a radio(?!) and a laser marker(!?)

So I ask. What just happened?

Some glitch, I dunno. fyi though, that AS50 TWS was scripted in, it's not meant to be in the game.

I was killed last night and when i respawned, I was 30 meters from where i died, and I had all my gear. I was also able to loot my dead body.... hmmmmm

Yeah I know it's not meant to be in this game. However, I saw a post saying that it isn't illegall to use hacked weapons, so I took the chance when looting it. Shame I never got to use it though :/

Just FYI you can be banned now for holding scripted weapons. If it's not in the game bury it with the body. Be glad you didnt get caught.

You might know the entire list of everything that IS meant to be in dayz but funnily enough many of us have busy lives, and haven't the time or inclination to memorise vast lists from god knows where! If it's on the ground I'll pick it up. How am I meant to know it's not allowed! :emptycan:

Also, the-old, I watched Rocket say on video that you won't get banned for using them. Can you give me a link to this new rule please? If there's a new rule then I want to make sure I can follow it.

You can get banned from servers, yea, it's up to the admins who log other players, but you can't receive a ban from battleye..

Perhaps we could all keep in mind that this is the NEW player forum. So if you are not a new player and your are not here to help them, then all you are doing is damaging the game's reputation and driving away potential new customers, when you post some bitchy, childish remark that criticises the new players for not knowing things. M4L, it takes far more than ten seconds and if you have to do that with every single item you come across in dayz then there's no time to play the game.

However, my point stands. How about you stop being a bitch to new players who are looking for help and advice, and go take on the regular players in the forum you should be visiting instead.
